Behind the Scenes

Exclusive evenings for groups

We are now offering a bespoke tour of the museum for a chance to hear the journey from first purchasing the steam engine and now 30 years on! A unique opportunity to discover how a collector’s hobby evolved into a family business.

The tour will enable guests further access to the shops within the Victorian street and to handle a variety of antiques learning of their origin and how we came to acquire them! If your interest is more within the military history a similar opportunity to view militia artefacts can be tailored to your group.

This tour is available for pre-bookings of an evening 6pm-7pm start onwards for a minimum of 10 people (maximum 20). The museum will be open exclusively for your group.

The rate per person is £19.95 including a glass of prosecco, wine, beer or cider! The guided experience will last 1.5 hours with plenty of question and answer opportunities. After the tour you are free to explore the rest of the museum at your leisure.

Enquire within, email or give us a call to discuss this opportunity.
